Club 345: 3rd-5th Grade

Club345 is the name of our Children's Church ministry for grades 3rd through 5th. Our goal is to develop relationships with the children allowing them to thrive spiritually in their relationship with the Lord. We believe we can Reach, Teach, and Connect children to the Savior.

We feel like this is a critical age for many children and as they grow and mature we want to be there for them to help them cope with new and different issues that may arise in their life. We find it is important to partner with parents because when working alone the church and parents can have a bright future, but working together can give a bigger impact.

Our Virtues:

  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Our curriculum is called 252 Basics. It is organized around key Bible stories that help kids discover Jesus and reflect His character to the world around them. To make it easy to understand, everything is unpacked through weekly Bottom Lines—a short phrase that is so easy to remember. Parents are encouraged to reinforce these pithy-Bottom Line phrases at home throughout the week. To help parents we provide weekly take-home sheets called GodTime along with a Parent Cue. Parents also receive a weekly email from the KidJam Director, after their children are registered.

What your child can expect in KidJam:

  • Welcome Time

We attempt to connect with the children by discussing what they have been doing this week.

  • Worship

We introduce new fun praise songs with motions that help the children connect the lesson and this weeks teaching about Jesus.

  • A Real-Life Situation

We attempt to relate the Bible Lesson to some situations that children face today.

  • Get Reel

A short video that is shown each week designed to help kids learn basic faith skills.

  • Lesson

This is the weekly Bible Lesson, which carries the monthly theme. This is the time when
we teach the virtues, which are reinforced each week.

  • Prayer Requests

We attempt to teach children how to pray for themselves and for others.

What Bible version do we use?
We use the New International Reader Version (NIrV), which our curriculum also uses. It is a very good translation for young readers. We provide this version of the Bible for any child who does not have one.
