Tot and PreK JAM

18 Months until Kindergarten

Tot JAM is for children ages 18 months to age 3 and Pre-K JAM is for children age 3 until they start Kindergarten. Ms. Alice and her helpers work hard to make sure that all the children learn about Jesus while having fun. Inthese areas we use the "First Look" Orange Curriculum to give preschool children a first impression of their loving heavenly Father. The curriculum keeps it simple and fun, repeating one basic truth about God all month long. First Look also helps children understand worship and introduces them to small group time.

The activities tickle all the senses making mastering the concepts a blast. Crazy fun activities to crafts to large group Bible story and worship time to small group Bible time, it’s all part of the plan to help a child believe three key things by the time he or she is five years old:

Our Virtues

  • God made me.
  • God loves me.
  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

We use this curriculum because it is a strategy that combines the critical influences of the church and home to incite wonder, provoke discovery, and fuel passion in the hearts of the next generation.

What your child can expect in Pre-K Jam:

  • Make It Fun
    - Each lesson has at least three options from which to choose.
    - Make It Fun helps introduce children to aspects of the upcoming Bible Story.
    - It welcomes and engages children.
  • Make It True
    - The Intro Sketch sets the stage for what they are going to learn and connects a preschooler’s world to the Bible Story.
    - The Bible Story teaches them a story from God’s Word in a way that they can understand and remember.
    - Worship is an opportunity for kids to tell God how much they love Him. It also reinforces the Bible Story and bottom line as well as reviews the memory verse.
  • Make It Stick
    - Reinforces the Bible Story.
    - Reinforces the Bottom Line.
    - Has activities that are active, crafty and sometimes delicious.

    - Kids discuss real life experiences.
    - Children are rewarded for coming to class and memorizing their Bible verse with tokens to redeem in the treasure chest.
